Acoustic boards

Acoustic effectiveness

Depending on the frequencies the structured surface provides a more or less permeable barrier to certain sounds. The main point here is the overall thickness of the applied material concerning its flow-resistance. The acoustic effectiveness of the material is based on friction of the air inside of the material causing an overlapping of energy-conversion and the behaviour of response.

Application

To get the best results for acoustic insulation a room or area should be arranged with the absorber on the whole. This stops the sounds from reflecting which normally leads to an increasing noise.

Advantages

The foam is made of an elastic, well fitting and even material.

  • Many options for the individual adaption.
  • Easy to assemble.
  • Resistant to Diesel, other fuels or motor-oil.
